- Is iKeepPDF really free? Yes — all tools are free. We support the project through display advertising. No sign-up, no credit card, no usage limits.
- Does iKeepPDF store my files? No. All processing happens in your browser. Files never leave your device. See the Privacy Policy for the technical details.
- Can I use iKeepPDF offline? Yes — once you have loaded a tool in your browser, it works without an internet connection. You can also install iKeepPDF as a PWA from the address bar for faster offline access.
- Does iKeepPDF work on mobile? Yes — all tools are mobile-responsive and tested on iOS Safari and Android Chrome. The workflow builder is best used on a larger screen, but the core tools work well on phones.
- I need to process hundreds of PDFs — is there an API? Not yet. iKeepPDF is designed for single-file, in-browser use. If you have a bulk processing need, contact us to discuss what might be possible.
- What file size limit is there? There is no hard server-side limit because your file never leaves your browser. The practical limit depends on your device's RAM. Most files up to 200 MB process without issue on modern hardware.
Expected response time
We respond to all emails within 1–2 business days. We do not have weekend support. If you send a message on Friday afternoon, you will typically hear back by Monday or Tuesday.
For bug reports with a clear reproduction case (browser, OS, what you tried), we usually respond faster because we can investigate immediately. Vague reports take longer as we may need to ask clarifying questions before we can reproduce the issue.
